Your child is required to complete the attached Math Summer Enrichment Project and turn it into their math teacher no later than September 5, 2017. Early projects will be accepted.   This project is their first Math test grade. Participation in the Summer Math Camp will be accepted and counted as a grade in lieu of completing this project.  Please see the post titled ” Free Summer Math Camp” for further details.

Free Math Camp to Rising 6th Graders in Douglas Byrd District

Ireland Drive Middle School is offering a two-week math camp for rising sixth-grade students in the Douglas Byrd Middle School District. Students will receive hands-on math instruction from a certified teacher as well participate in camp activities facilitated by Cumberland County Prime Time such as games, arts, and crafts. Breakfast, lunch, and transportation are provided. Seating is limited.

Camp Dates and Times
Monday-Thursday
July 10-13 and July 17-20
8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

                                             NO CAMP OFFERED ON FRIDAYS
